Opportunity for a Manufacturing Team Leader/Supervisor to move to a highly successful manufacturing company based in Co. Antrim.
The Role:
Leading activities within the New Development Workshop, including:
- Supervising/leading a team of c. 12/13 semi-skilled operatives including Electricians & highly skilled technical operatives. (This is a growing department and the person appointed will need to have the ability to manage perhaps a larger team in the future)
- Meeting manufacturing and quality standards required
- Ability to attend and contribute to daily Progress/ KPI departmental meetings
- Plan and organise work rotas effectively
- Oversee training and development of team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects
The Person:
Role will be c. 80% team leadership and 20% design/build. Ideal candidates will have the following:
- At least 5 years’ previous experience in a similar role within engineering/manufacturing (holding an engineering qualification or Health & Safety training would be an advantage)
- Good team leading experience with ability to represent Dept. at meetings within manufacturing
- Continuous Improvement experience
- Working knowledge of Quality Systems & H&S compliance within manufacturing
Attractions/Benefits:
- 4 Day week: Mon – Thurs 7 – 5pm (38 hrs)
- Good salary – mid/late £30s – depending on experience plus other benefits associated with a successful manufacturing company
