Our client, a “Best in Class” construction products manufacturer is further building its organisation by the appointment of a Reliability Engineer.   
 
This is an internationally renowned business with a strong track record of developing its employees, initially through its award-winning Skills Development Programme and now introducing a structured Lean training programme.    This programme will provide structured development pathways with all the necessary support to help achieve career progression.
 
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager this role will focus on condition monitoring, preventative and predictive maintenance activity across the plant.   Specific duties will include:
  • Continuous vibration and equipment wear monitoring
  • Trending of ceramic wear performance
  • Use of thermal imaging equipment in all areas of plant to predict breakdown hotspots in advance of outage.
 
Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong technical background, ideally in both mechanical and electrical discipline with established experience in predictive maintenance is desirable
  • Must be competent in preparing reports for management and technical writing including presentation of complex recommendations regarding equipment condition and repair
  • Applicants must hold as a minimum a HNC/D Level 4 (or equivalent) in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline
 
The Company has a range of innovative, research-led projects planned, particularly within the CO2 reduction space, and this will ensure that the professional and technical skills of those involved will be leading-edge and in demand both locally and internationally.  Role may suit someone travelling from perhaps Fermanagh/ Monaghan, Cavan or E. Leitrim.
