Our client, specialists in the design and manufacture of Electrical Switchgear & Automated Control Systems, are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with Switchgear experience, to join their team based in the Dungannon area.
The company works with market leaders within the electrical switchgear and control equipment sector, offering high quality, cost competitive products, providing a one-stop-shop solutions for customers.
The Person:
Suitable applicants will have:
- A minimum of a HND in Electrical Engineering, or Time served in Panel Building/Electrical Apprenticeship with relevant design experience
- Knowledge of Modular Steel Work Systems such as Cubic, Elsteel etc
- Knowledge of Schneider and ABB range of LV Products
- Confident with LV design and manufacture of Switchgear up to 6300 Amps
- Experience of SolidWorks electrical or similar electrical design software (IGE/XAO)
- Experience of switchgear design to IEC/UL product standards – advantageous
- 2D and 3D software experience
The Benefits:
- Very attractive salary package on offer, dependent upon experience
- Hours: Mon-Thurs 7.30am to 5.00pm, finishing 2.00pm on a Friday. Flexibility around start time can be agreed with slightly longer working on a Friday if desired.
